After the long downtime today, Star Wars: The Old Republic is back up. The newest change is this new news:

Welcome to the official Star Wars: The OId Republic website If you are just now joining us, we originally announced Star Wars: The Old Republic in October 2008. Today, we are revealing that BioWare and LucasArts will be localizing The Old Republic into French and German and we are launching the French (www.swtor.fr) and German (www.swtor.de) versions of the official website. This entire site is built around our shared love of Star Wars, and our passionate commitment to great gaming. We hope that it will become the center of an incredible community.

So if you speak German or French they now have an official place for you to go. The rest of the news is info for new members to the community.

Don't certain parts of Canada require that games be in French to be released there? This news guarantees a TOR release in those areas of Canada now. :)

Canada has special rules for Les Quebecois. It wouldn't surprise me, kinda like how you cant release certain images in video games of WWII in Germany.
