Threat of Peace #16 This Week.
by Zoidberg
, posted September 24th, 2009 at 3:27 PM
Issue #16 of the Threat of Peace webcomic going to be our update for the week.

We will be publishing Threat of Peace #16 this week. Next weeks posting we have something great lined up for you, though.

The biggest news of what is coming up is that next week will be the big news. Looks like the ramp up in the news is starting up soon(TM).

Like I said, though, next week will be a good one. Also, convention season is now over, the Austin Game Developers Conference being the last. With that out of the way, we are ramping up our announcements and reveals.

I like how Sean's post implies Threat of Peace is a piece of crap.

In a very passive way, maybe. ;)

I, on the other hand, like it.

The lack of big news lately has been painful, even DH has been deathly silent. I do hope this big news next week isn't just going to be a one-time thing in the middle of this relative news drought.

I find your lack of faith disturbing.

It's hard to have faith when your god does not speak! It's been a quiet 2 weeks or so, my lord and savior BioWare doth needs to speak to me a little. Maybe announce a big change from a burning bush? :)

Part of faith is not having your deity speak to you on a daily/weekly basis. Some religions have had silence for thousands of years. These people may help you with your spiritual needs. I just hope your not a certain teddy bear species that believes a certain gold robot is their god. I dont understand the logic of sneaking into a base wearing camo if you bring along mr shiny pants.

It was only bad because Skippy blew it on purpose.

"Uncle Owen, this droid has a bad motivator. Look!"

Comment by RogueJedi86 made on September 24th, 2009 at 8:10pm
Oh, Skippy is very real. He was the reason R2-D2 got to be with Luke, by blowing his motivator on purpose so that R2-D2 could fulfill his destiny and save the galaxy.

Plus one canon droid guide confirmed that Skippy is real in-universe, at least as a myth of sorts.

Skippy is a non-canon suicidal droid. When talking about any religion, canon is important.

All hail Skippy the Jedi Droid?

But the title of mine will snarf you... I'm just not sure if that is a good thing or not. (I hope it is)

I actually haven't read a lot of these recent speculation topics(including yours). Look at my name, I obviously know my Star Wars. :P

Cheater! You saw my comments over in thisthread.

At least he can speak Basic, which could theoretically disguise him as a stormie if he's heard but not seen. Look at R2, nothing but beeps and boops that are associated with a droid type most frequently used by the Rebellion. :P

Its one thing to bring him along, but why not cover him in leaves or something so he can blend in. Going in all shiny in a combat situation is like having a billboard over your head saying "Shoot Here!" He can still banter and let the rush of being a god go to his head, but just because he is a god does not mean he gets god powers. If you read the crummy rp threads I made you will see only ZOIDBERG gets god powers.

Because what's the point of going on an important mission where the galaxy's freedom is at stake if you don't have an oddball droid along to banter with?
