"Do you think the Sith Agent will be the mirror to the Smuggler?"

No I don't think so. But I think tthe mirroring of classes isn't that big as we thought they were going to be. Although we haven't got that much info on playstyles yet, it looks like some classes may have some similarities, but are essentially very different.

I think that the Sith Agent will mirror of some of the Smuggler's abilities. For instance, the cover system that the Smuggler will use. This system likely caused some time and trouble putting in, so it would make sense for another class to use the system, preferably a Sith class to make things seem more fair. Although I doubt the Sith Agent will mirror this ability completely, I certainly wouldn't find it odd to find a stealth or disguise ability for the Sith Agent to use.

I wonder if this class will have stealth capabilities. I would be ok with no stealth classes in TOR, but it has become a a fixture over the years in MMOs

It is difficult to say if I am rethinking my class selection. I have been stating that I would pick a class that had a sniper rifle over all others and it looks like that class has been shown.

I might be in the minority here but I dont think there will be class mirroring at all. when an mmo says that certain classes mirror each other the meta gamers come out and nit pick everything. the graphs come out, the calculators come out and the nerf calls come out. warhammer suffered from naming class mirrors and all people do is look at the other grass and complain how its greener. BW should say that its faction v faction balanced and do its best to make each class play uniquely that way not only will each class have individual stories but individual playstyles. when you try to go out and mirror classes you water things down.

with the jedi knight and imperial agent reveal my class did not change because it was always going to be an imperial agent.

arent you guys a show behind? im about to get all tor community and start making demands for something i dont pay for!

When a developer says "8 unique classes," I have a tendency to believe them. So you aren't in the minority.

well they did say they aren't trying to mirror classes in some early posts on the forums or something but it's human nature to make connections intentional or not.

I personally think that the Imperial Agent is looking more like the trooper than the smuggler to be honest. They both use big guns, they both were armor (its just that the Imperial Agent isnt wearing a helmet) and they both solely work for there faction. But i do also see some things pointing it towards the smuggler, we'll just have to wait and see!

Will/should the Imperial Agent be able to use the cover system?
Seems weird for it not to be able to ...

it's weird to me that it is not applied to every class

Its not applied to every class because they want them to be unique.
