Darth Hater in December

The last few weeks have been noteworthy for everyone following Star Wars: The Old Republic. We've seen the Jedi Knight and Imperial Agent revealed back-to-back, and we got the first taste of the new marketing direction from BioWare and LucasArts with the combat demo for the Imperial Agent. Although November has been great to the fans, and especially us here at Darth Hater, December looks to be even more exciting.

On December 3rd, you too will be a VIP

We would like to invite everyone to join us here on December 3rd for a Star Wars: The Old Republic News Extravaganza. So eat some turkey, do some shopping, and get ready to see a little of what TOR has in store for us in the new year.

Actually, you were allowed to record the presentation in San Fran in a form that no one can prevent (unless they give you a good dose of sedative)- your memory. Now if I could just figure out how to upload a person's memory to a computer in full HD-TV color, I'd be rich enough to buy a house located conspicuously close to Bioware Austin, and a pair of binoculars. At least.

Guess I will have to set my alarm for 2:55 am EST..... but then I hope DH don't crash... :(

On a side note.... why haven't I heard anyone discuss Alderaan as a possible playable world?
It is 3500 years before it was blown up, unless there is some lore I am not aware of as to why we couldn't play there.

Someone needs to set all of the Darth Hater team's clocks forwards an hour on Dec. 2nd then they can give us the information early. DH Team, just deny you know anything about the Star Wars nerds who snuck into your house in Imperial Agent outfits and messed with your clocks. LA and BW will believe you.

Darn most likely 1 of the best Friday updates to date, and I've planned a long weekend in Spain, darn people and the crazy Birthday stuff.
May have to take time out from the party town and get in some web time lol.

Looking forward to it, though i must say i am still a bit nervous, part of me is concerned that anything they announce could be brought on in an attempt to get the game out asap rather then finish it first then release it

Someone mentioned that MMORPG.com had a similar link, but i refuse to go to a site llike that, only looked further once someone mentioned you guys had something about it!

Also how many of you work at bioware or LA seems you have some very good yet highly suspicious connections to these type of things haha

none of us are employed by BioWare or LucasArts, however we have developed a nice working relationship due to some fantastic work by people a little more behind the scenes then Sado and I.

You think? How would they be able to put together there presentation before Dec 3rd. They gonna do a live net broadcast from LA. Which I'm sure they'd love to do, but it doesn't really sound feasable does it?

This is what Sean said on the announcement of the friday update today:

"We plan on ending the year well. Looking at the roadmap on my wall, we will be doing an update every Friday throughout the rest of the year, including over the holidays. And not a single one of those is a webcomic (by itself) and no Fan Fridays (although they will be returning next year... with some new facets)."

So there's loads of info comming up in december :)

Excellent, looks like that's the date the information embargo (from the demo) is lifted. Is it hard for you guys to keep such delicious information a secret (...aside from the legal implications)? I'd be practically exploding with nerd zealousness at the moment.
