Today's Update: Threat of Peace

Sean posted an update this morning letting us know that today's update is a new Threat of Peace webcomic:

We're working on updating the website with today's update now and I wanted to go ahead and let you all know that it will be Threat of Peace #20. I anticipate that some of you may be upset by this news but before you start writing that reply, here's a few more things to hear first.

We plan on ending the year well. Looking at the roadmap on my wall, we will be doing an update every Friday throughout the rest of the year, including over the holidays. And not a single one of those is a webcomic (by itself) and no Fan Fridays (although they will be returning next year... with some new facets).

We are having a light week this week but I'd recommend checking back next week and every other week through the end of the year (and of course, come back next year).

According to mmorpg.com the last two class will be revealed by DEC 3rd as they are doing a review of them on that date.

/whew. ok. it's just scowering websites for info is old hat for me. I worked in U.S. Navy Intelligence for 7 years. Old habits and such. The only difference is now I can actually tell people what i find. :)

And no web-comics, personally I don’t like those, my computer takes forever to load them, and they're not that interesting. But with updates every Friday! That means more classes, more combat revealed, more planets, and more timelines, more everything! This is going to be the best holiday season yet! I get a gift that, well, keeps on giving! (Blah stole that from an enzyite commercial :P) I can’t wait to hear what Bioware has to throw at us; I’m just giddy with happiness! I feel like a child who’s discovered that he can control what channels on TV! WOOT!

Threat of Peace isnt too bad. It helps set the backstory and also provides a few hints. I just like to wait until the sections are all done so I can keep track of the plot.

ya ok thats fine, i just hate lookin forward to a friday and then only getting threat of Peace, but this works now. Cant wait for next friday now :) Developer dispatch?

They didn't say no more Threat of Peace.. They said no more Threat of Peace ONLY... Just thought I'd mention that. Which means we'll still be seeing Threat of Peace comics, they just won't be the only announcments anymore for the rest of the year.

That it has come to the point that developers have to apologise that they're sorry for "only" releasing a fun to read few pages of a web-comic as their game update for this week. Spoiled little princes and princesses running around nowdays.

*Sigh*

Here, here!! We've all gone soft, AND needy! I like it when they do big announcements, but I'm perfectly satisfied with only a webcomic once in a while. I also liked the way Sean treated Fan Fridays like they were trash releases.
