Question for the DH team: Based on what you've seen from the combat so far, do you think Bioware is going for a more decisional style of combat or a more motor skill oriented combat? (i.e. are you more likely to win a fight if you make better decisions in-combat or are you more likely to win a fight if you have better hand eye coordination in-combat?)

(for more backgound on my question see: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=95103)

I've got a good question or rather a few but I can't spit them all out or it would exceed the 30 second limit.

1. How is healing going to work in TOR?
I've played WoW, and other MMOs before so I understand the importance of healing aspects not only for group but soloing missions as well.

2. How is PvP going to work? (If PvP is actually a part of their plan.) Is it going to be regulated to battleground? (Arenas similar to WoW. etc. etc.) Or is it going to occur in open areas of the world? Ex: For instance let's say a certain Sith Warrior is roaming the cityscape of Coruscant and happens to stumble upon a Jedi Consular, should I or rather could I merc said Consular before they run into a non-combat zone, such as a Cantina or something of the like?

3. Are races going to determine the classes you can play in TOR? Like in WoW. Eg: Trolls can't be Paladins. (Or at least couldn't the last time I checked.)
I ask this because in the new Invasion serious of Star Wars (Issue #5) Lowbacca is seen wielding a lightsaber in a Nar Shadaa cantina.

Comment by Panzzer made on November 30th, 2009 at 10:22pm
All of those questions noone knows the answer too as of yet

Comment by cwjedi made on December 1st, 2009 at 1:57am
lowbacca is one of the few wookiee jedis in the canon EU. so thats probably the reason he has a lightsaber.

Woot, got it written down all over my house, can't wait for DH to spill the news! :)

Comment by RogueJedi86 made on November 30th, 2009 at 7:30pm
Really, you have notes written all over your house about it?

Somehow I can't imagine this news being huge since we already know all 8 classes and most of the planets. Even announcing the last 3-4 planets all at once wouldn't seem mega huge. The only epic news at this moment would be "Closed Beta already happened and we were secretive and now we lift the NDA!".

Comment by Deidare made on November 30th, 2009 at 7:39pm
It’s a figure of speech RogueJedi. Why so serious?

Comment by kingduck13 made on November 30th, 2009 at 7:34pm
Releasing playable races, explinations on compaions, in depth combat rundowns, pvp reveals, the date the game is gonna be released..... you're right I guess there is nothing big that could possibly be revealed on the 3rd.

Comment by Panzzer made on November 30th, 2009 at 7:39pm
indepth class abilities, skill trees, subscription details, level cap.

Comment by kingduck13 made on November 30th, 2009 at 5:35pm
I had been hoping for a wookiee jedi (if wookiees are a playable species). But i came across a piece in the wookieepedia that said George Lucas has decreed there can be no more wookiee jedi in the extended universe. Anyone know if this also applies to sith? or is it an all around no force users type of statement?

http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Wookiee (in the behind the scenes section)

Comment by RogueJedi86 made on November 30th, 2009 at 6:06pm
Wookiees aren't bad people, why would they be Sith? Plus we don't know if they'll even be playable.

Comment by kingduck13 made on November 30th, 2009 at 6:31pm
Ah but as they have stated their will be light side sith. And there is a wookiee bounty hunter in the comic and as they have stated the comic has many hints about the game so there is a fair chance that you could play a wookiee.

Comment by Panzzer made on November 30th, 2009 at 7:07pm
I think a Wookie would be a smugglers companion

Comment by Deidare made on November 30th, 2009 at 7:28pm
Yeah think Panzzer? lol, but seriously though, this is TOR. A star wars MMO, I think the "lore" boundaries might be broken alittle. Because the only race you ever see as a sith is humans, sure twi'leks, tusken raider, and Chagrian (as well as a Muun). But in reality I believe BW and LA might go past this "race segregation" and allow more races in classes were it might not make a whole lot of sense, just to add to the sense of building you own story. However I think the types of races for a class would be limited to an extent.

Comment by Panzzer made on November 30th, 2009 at 7:07pm

Comment by snafu made on November 30th, 2009 at 4:54pm
You would expect a website named Darth Hater to skew a bit towards the empire and the dark side. If the site had a name more inspired by Jedi aspects of Star Wars lore, something like JediHater.com, then the poll results would probably be be...wait. *Expletive*, nevermind.

Let me bet you that closer to launch Smugglers will be 200% more popular. Promise.

Comment by cwjedi made on November 30th, 2009 at 4:54pm
Yer i totally /agree purplecliff, and i think the same will happen for the trooper, agent and bounty hunter. I'm preety sure that they will put up a big campagin for people to play non- force users classes, but they probablly won't actually say that, they'll do it discertly.

Comment by RogueJedi86 made on November 30th, 2009 at 7:46am
Didn't BW specifically say there wouldn't be dedicated healing classes, as thus they're not sticking to the Holy Trinity? That would explain the lack of healers.

Hell, I like the idea of each side doing instances differently. Republic has Jedi Consulars to heal(maybe), so they could do instances with heals like other MMOs. But if the Empire has no healers, they could have more focus on Crowd Control to make their way through dungeons. I like that form of differentiation, with each side approaching instances differently. It would give more variety between the factions.

Comment by Bzrk made on November 30th, 2009 at 12:06pm
Agreed completely. We actually don't know anything about the actual healing system. It would be great to see how a certain instance will play out. Especially if there's no Consular around. Which is quite possible if you look at the poll atm.

Comment by Panzzer made on November 29th, 2009 at 11:01pm
Wow this poll is so even!!!

DH Team
Comment by Zoidberg made on November 30th, 2009 at 11:54am
Too even.... But then again the 4 lightsaber users really helped to spread out the old numbers.

This old topic ( http://darthhater.com/2009/07/14/jedisith-wars-ahoy/ ) Was showing about 60% of people wanting to use a Jedi or Sith.

Now the imbalance is in faction choices, because it looks like the correct choice is winning. (Notice my bias)

Comment by cdstephens made on November 29th, 2009 at 4:44pm
How required will healing be in content? Which content? Will hybrid healers be effective in fulfilling the role? Are specializations permanent?

Comment by Panzzer made on November 29th, 2009 at 5:37pm
All we know is that the Consular is a healing/range dps class. Not sure what other classes will be able to bring to the table as far as healing/buffs but most likely they will have some tricks to handle hybrid healing. Whether it be a companion character or a special ability

Comment by Deidare made on November 29th, 2009 at 6:01pm
Yes what Panzzer says is absolutely correct Cdstephens. As for the specializations, from what BW (and LA) have been saying, it sounds A LOT like once you choose you "path" you won’t be able to switch out. Now I’m sure switching the talents you spend in your path will be an option. But whether you can change your path to the other all together seems like it probably won’t happen.

Comment by Revix2k9 made on November 29th, 2009 at 8:42pm
i dont think bw and la are that stupid. respec got to be there.

Comment by Deidare made on November 29th, 2009 at 9:05pm
@-Panzzer Yeah I thought they said it was a tank too, they also gave us hints that the sith warrior was a tank, in the scenario video they talk about him having to take npc's off his BH "buddy". It really did confuse me, and the trooper thing was strange, as well as the fact that they haven’t announced a healer on the Empires side. It’s really strange. But maybe that’s were all this CC comes into play? I'm not sure right now.

Comment by Panzzer made on November 29th, 2009 at 8:59pm
@deidare, ya I was confised when I read that, how is the trooper a tank? And why was the Sith Warrior not named a tank, instead of melee dps

Comment by Deidare made on November 29th, 2009 at 8:50pm
I do respect them, but when they show us 4 force user classes and things like 2 tanks on the republic and what appears to be 4 dps on the empire. That’s when it’s safe to say things. Other than that Revix I have complete respect, and I'm not trying to degrade the companies in anyway.

Comment by Deidare made on November 29th, 2009 at 12:33pm
Question: Is that PC games magazine the talks about the last two classes available in the US (in English of course)? I'd like to know before I'd head out to borders to go see if it’s there.

Thanks Faryon dude, now I know its out, lol

Comment by Panzzer made on November 29th, 2009 at 5:34pm
What i found interesting in that article was the descrptions of the classes. What I noticed was that the Sith Inquisitor cannot heal, so who will heal on the sith side? Also, it said that your story choices will effect endgame. So basically you choose a path and that path will define how your character plays. The Bounty Hunter was stated as a Multi-Roll class. What do you guys think of that?

Comment by Deidare made on November 29th, 2009 at 9:00pm
Well in a way I think that’s the wrong category for WoW Pinio. WoW's more of its own category so to speak, it’s just one all in its own. But Yeah I see what you’re saying, I've said it a lot that TOR got major differences from WoW and I'm fine with that. But when it comes down to a classes roll I think the options should be balanced on both sides, and from what the articles says, this wouldn't true. Which in a way is fine but it’s also a little strange to have two tanks and a healer on one side and what appears to be all dps on the other. Whether this is true or not, still isn’t certain, we know at least 1 path for most classes so far. Other than that the game looks incredible, I don't have a major problem with that, but I'm just curious how they're going to roll this out. ;)

Comment by Pinio made on November 29th, 2009 at 6:32pm
I don't play in MMOs, so all this terms I could only suspect what they mean :) But I see that there are some problems to fit TOR in strictly classical (am I wrong if I write WoW like?) solutions and terminology. Yes we don't know everything about this game and many aspects can change in time. But this is positive for me that there is something new in TOR :)

Comment by Deidare made on November 29th, 2009 at 5:54pm
Yeah I know Panzzer, it says that you'll be able to choose through 2 "paths" once you hit a certain level. (Kind of like what Aion has) And then youll only have access to that one talent tree, which you’ll be able to choose what talents you want in that tree. And did you check out the republic, 2 tank classes, 1 healer, and 1 stealth dps. Then for the empire it looks like they'll all be dps (with the exception of the BH) sith warriors melee dps, ranged dps is SI, and IA is ranged/ melee stealth dps. So who’s the tank and who’s the healer!?

I think though that the sith warriors second path will be tanking, because they say he has heavy armor. Then SI appears that it won’t heal at all, they say its first path is melee dps, and its second is ranged dps. And then for BH they just have a bunch of rambling for his class. Does it mean the BH will have more than 2 "paths"? I don't think so, but will it have a tank and healer path? Maybe, even though that seems unlikely and weird, although it does wear heavy armor like a tank, but how would it heal? Maybe from the "black market" goods you'd buy. But what about its dps roll, if it has one at all?

This is the perfect example of how BW and LA are trying to change the way we look at MMOs. This defiantly tells us that CC and team work (along with companion characters) is how you’ll make it through most scenarios and pvp encounters. Then there’s the republic, with its two tank classes. Raising even more question. Only with time will we know (and I’m getting sick of hearing that :P) Either way, the game is looking great. And upon seeing all the classes and their roles, I can't wait to hear about combat.

So fire at me then I warm up my hands when deflect your shots. But hold blaster as strong as you can because it may fall out at any time ;)

Comment by Pinio made on November 29th, 2009 at 3:03pm
Flames - e.g. telekinetic wall (different method like Skywalker walking on lava)

Grenade - e.g. telekinetic wall ;) or force push grenade away.

Trust me if force users can e.g. influence into black hole (Luke once again) make force storm (Palpatine) or teleport objects (Luke) then flamethrowers or grenade isn't too much ;)

But I understand that game must be balanced and it hardly to expext, that we can play as someone so powerful as Luke. Palpatine maybe, but Luke :p

Like for You I shall to write Anakin if I remember rightly :D

Comment by Pinio made on December 2nd, 2009 at 2:27pm
Many regular troopers versus regular jedi in Order 66. Heroic jedi - Yoda hadn't any problems ;)

So maybe many regular troopers vs one regular jedi and one heroic trooper vs one regular jedi ;D is balanced. In game it work differently. Even in EU this aspects looks different depend on writers and situations.

There is no clues that force user can't travel through hyperspace without ship (if anytime it will be show I expect that someone very powerful make this - e.g. Luke).

And I understand that rare force powers probably won't appear in game. I write like it can look in EU :D

Comment by RogueJedi86 made on November 30th, 2009 at 7:40am
"You are right that regular Jedi can have problems with good equipment opponent, but I wrote like it could work with heroic force users."

Heroic Force User versus Heroic Trooper, the tables are pretty balanced. Plus the random troopers of Order 66 weren't heroes and they still beat the Heroic Jedi. :)

And the Force isn't rigid, but there are only so many abilities you can derive from it. You can't use the Force to travel through hyperspace by yourself without a starship. Abilities like Force Wall are so rarely used in the EU and movies so as to not be notable abilities. At the least abilities like that couldn't be spammed I figure.

Comment by Pinio made on November 29th, 2009 at 6:20pm
About Force Wall - Tahiri Veil in some novel, I can't remember in which, but in NJO series use telekinetic wall to deflect multiple blaster shots and protect entire group of people. Its important to add, that she wasn't very powerful jedi. Force could be use in any way - force user need only to control force flow :) Jedi can fly, make illusion of entire ships etc.

Sorry for second comment, but I don't manage edit in time :)

Comment by Pinio made on November 29th, 2009 at 6:12pm
Force is not thing like several rigid technics. Force is fluid and there are no limits of technics. It is not like spells.

I don't read this novel, but look here: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Luke_Skywalker#Powers_and_abilities in Force Protection paragraph. If you read entire section of examples Luke's force achievements - it shows good what I wrote about :D

Of course there are differences between Force in movies and EU. IMO EU show this aspect of SW universe in much better way :D

Ahh. You are right that regular Jedi can have problems with good equipment opponent, but I wrote like it could work with heroic force users. Yoda like we see in movie has no problem with that :)

I say nothing of how multi-authorship of SW stuff make many controversion and inconsistency in this subject and not only.

Comment by RogueJedi86 made on November 29th, 2009 at 4:56pm
There's no such thing as "Force Wall", and no one walked on lava.

Go look at Order 66 if you think Jedi easily trump Troopers. Troopers with regular guns were killing Jedi by the thousands with just a few shots each. They didn't even have to use tricks like flamethrowers or grenades.

Comment by Pinio made on November 29th, 2009 at 3:16pm
Yes, one of the easiest way :D Or more subtly - make illusion of yourself then opponent attack it and you walk away without action ;) There is so many methods.

It will be super if BW add force illusion as ability :D

Comment by chronium made on November 29th, 2009 at 3:08pm
I would force crush the flame thrower's nozzle so that it would either blow the BH up or just not work at all. I also don't think anyone has been dumb enough to throw a grenade at a force user in the movies or eu.

Comment by Spongy made on November 29th, 2009 at 4:07am
I'm going to be whatever class makes the best pilot. I voted smuggler since that's my guess. Though I'm sure jedis would make excellent pilots too.

I'm more interested in dogfights in space than PvP on land.

If all classes pilot the same, then i'll choose the alien race w/ a piloting bonus. If that doesn't exist either, I'll just choose the most profitable profession so i can afford to keep my ships shipshape.

Comment by RogueJedi86 made on November 29th, 2009 at 1:54pm
Target Demographic Guy, what will you roll if it turns out all classes are equally profitable? You accounted there being equal piloting skill and piloting bonuses, but not the possibility that all classes could be equally profitable. So in that case, what would you roll?

Comment by Deidare made on November 29th, 2009 at 12:20pm
Yeah that would be cool, but it also seems a little hard to implement. What I'm thinking however, is that the put in "vehicles" in some major PvP areas that you can use to fight. Kinda like what WoW has in wintergrasp. But space PvP would still be sweet, I don't think I'd prefer it over "land" pvp, but it would be a nice second option.

Comment by Panzzer made on November 29th, 2009 at 2:59am
Overally it seems pretty even, sure there is a little less people plaing Sith Warrior and Smuggler, but the other classes are remarkable similar in people wanting to play them. I just cant wait for more indept character abilities, perhaps that might sway the poll results. I wonder if the Bounty Hunter will have control of his Jet pack? Or what buffs will the jedi Knight be able to make. These questions ultimately will decide who plays who, and what type of person plays each class.

Comment by Deidare made on November 29th, 2009 at 12:16pm
I know I can't wait for the announcement of talents and abilities either Panzzer. The suspense is so heavy. But something I want to know even more is: What races can we play as?! Come on they should have announced that in our "story" pillar. I swear if they wait til the exploration "pillar" I will freak out man. haha

Comment by Panzzer made on November 29th, 2009 at 2:14pm
Ya, im not too big on the races, most likely just going to roll a human so I can relate more to my character. But ya its still a good thing that they will have races, they make the game more complex.

Comment by Deidare made on November 29th, 2009 at 5:17pm
And that adds a lot to the "individual feel." Because hell without our characters looking different from each other, we'd all be clones! Wewt go Jango ;)

Comment by Lugano made on November 29th, 2009 at 2:37am
I will most likely play a Sith Warrior first, and then have an Inquistor alt.

I think I'm going to have the warrior as my main since it seems like there might be a large number of people playing the Inquistor. I guess it just really depends on which class I enjoy more once I start playing.

Comment by Deidare made on November 29th, 2009 at 12:55am
I voted yes even though I'm stuck between two classes. I've wanted to be BH since I first saw it, but then I saw SI, and it brought me back to my childhood when I'd run around wanting to shock kids at my school (by the way I hated my grade school...). Either way, I’d roll dps for my main and my alt would likely be dps too. But I think my conclusion will be rolling BH for my main, and then having an SI dps as my alt, so I not only loot up on credits, but then I can also shock people like I've always wanted to do.

Gonna Have to go with Jedi Knight Main / BH Alt

If I could pose one question to BioWare it would be: What is your reaction to the community division over the concept viewed as the "Trinity Update", effectively dividing the community in a very vocal way (ex: the SWTOR forums)? As of the current date, I cannot think of one other issue that has sparked the sheer debate, volume of threads, and redundant arguments being posted over and over as this particular set of information. There are a lot for and against the idea of a traditional "Trinity" approach, and I would very much like to know BioWares official party line spelled out in black and white for all to hear. Is this it? Is it going to stay that way? Could it be changed at this point? Why is it such a bad / good Idea? Is it even true, or misconstrued misunderstood due to poor translations or communication? WHAT?

I understand it would be somewhat publicity suicide to come out and advocate one way or the other for BW over this particular topic, but I do think SOME kine of message would bring a lot of unrest to a close in what is ultimately a very enthusiastic and motivated community. I mean really, people wouldn't be THAT pissed off unless they really love the IP, and Game Idea itself. People are passionate about it, there is no doubt. You can't please everyone all the time I suppose...

Sith inquisitor all the way, I was hopinng to play a ranged nuke force class and was hoping I could spec the warrior to do that, now that we have a class dedicated to it pretty much I'm so amped to play it. hopefully it can also be a healer since i'm undecided if I want to make a healer or dps main.

Comment by cwjedi made on November 28th, 2009 at 7:18pm
I went for the Sith Inquisitor. I want to shoot lightning at things. then say lol.

Comment by PurpleCliff made on November 28th, 2009 at 6:16pm
For me it's Inquisitor or Agent (they just seem the coolest), and I like to be unique and seperate from the crowd.
So it's the Imperial Agent for me.

Comment by RogueJedi86 made on November 28th, 2009 at 6:48pm
Everyone thinks Agent is cool, so if everyone rolls one, you won't be unique or separate from the crowd. :P

Comment by snafu made on November 29th, 2009 at 12:49am
Trying to be unique in a game that will have millions of players and only 8 classes to choose from is a rather hopeless endeavor regardless of what class you roll.

Comment by PurpleCliff made on November 29th, 2009 at 4:12am
That's where the big pink hat comes in. :P

Comment by Deidare made on November 29th, 2009 at 1:05am
True, that’s with they put in story and talent trees, companions (different), mounts, achievements, etc. Just a little something so you can stand out.

Comment by Deidare made on November 29th, 2009 at 12:48am
No but he might be the only non-noob EA, so he'd actually have good gear instead of fail gear that all the others would have. Making him unique and stand out ;P Thats how I look at it

i already knew i was gonna play a sith warrior and before ppl go nuts on bout force its also fact that. i always play melee classes and i like to tank. Sw look to be tanks. but im altoholic and i will play other seven classes.

Comment by Pinio made on November 28th, 2009 at 5:12pm
First I want to vote "no". But the question is about "main" class so... I feel that will play in more than one class, but mostly I interested in force users (more Jedi type). So I choose Jedi Consular, because it fit more precisely in my reflection about Jedi as I wrote somewhere before (to be honest: true about full Jedi lies between this two subclasses IMO ;) ).

Comment by heybarn made on November 28th, 2009 at 5:11pm
I'm planning on a Smuggler as an alt - I think the story will be pretty good for them; humour, romance, betrayal etc etc. I may have a nosey at a BH also as they look pretty versatile. But for my main FU I always wanted to play a Jedi, but until I see the skill/talent differences between the JK JC I'm not sure atm. I like the idea of a dps/cc JC as I think that could rock, but I'm nervous of being an expected healer whenever I group (can just imagine the "what spec r u?" comments!).

Comment by PaperStab made on November 28th, 2009 at 5:02pm
I chose Sith Inquisitor. I was originally going to play the Sith Warrior for lack of any other Sith class available. Once I heard about the Inquisitor, I changed my mind.

I liked the Sith Inquisitor until that UK magazine said the 2 speccs were going to be darth maul melee dps and ranged dps.. was really hoping for ranged DPS and healer.. right now the Agent looks pretty good to me.

Question: No dedicated healer for the Sith Empire?

Comment by Panzzer made on November 28th, 2009 at 4:33pm
i thought the SI could heal

Comment by Deidare made on November 29th, 2009 at 12:45am
Yes SI are the healers for the Empire and the consular’s equivalent counterpart. Thus meaning they shall heal too.

According to this the SI is the polar opposite of the Consular.. complete with 2 dps specs.. It might have a few heal abilities, but with 2 dps specs you can't call it a dedicated healer.

I'm with JediCosmin on this one. Call me pathetic, but I had a really hard time playing dark-side characters in KotOR. I just can't bring myself to choose the evil options, so I'm going with a light-side Jedi Knight, protector of the innocent.

Comment by chronium made on November 29th, 2009 at 9:45am
That's why they have lightside options for the Sith Empire

Hey DH can you put up a poll on what class you have decided to choose. It would be really cool to see everyones choice as a poll

Bounty Hunter since it was announced.

Comment by jerlot made on November 28th, 2009 at 2:03pm
I have an idea, of who I may try. However, I think I need to hear more about how not only the classes themselves, but also how combat, grouping, and other things are going to work.

Comment by Sztanyi made on November 28th, 2009 at 1:53pm
I've pretty much fallen in love with the Bounty Hunter notion after reading multiple books on bounty hunters, and seeing the Fetts in the movies. Basically Jango was like the first person in the movies to hold his own against a very powerful jedi (obi) and i liked that.

My first alt would most likely be a trooper.Trooper because i read the Republic / Imperial commando books and the fell in love with the clones. Troopers are basically the next best thing to the clone commandos, and their armor looks sick, so thats my choice.

Comment by Roflmywaffles made on November 28th, 2009 at 1:33pm
i still honestly dont know if im going to be republic or sith yet it depends on what my friends are doing sith = agent , republic = jedi

Trooper.

Jedi Knight, light side all the way.
This will be my main, but afterwards I would like to experience every storyline possible. More fun :)

I'm gonna be an Inquisitor + BH as a twink.

Comment by RogueJedi86 made on November 28th, 2009 at 1:33pm
Good god, don't drag WoW's twinking into TOR. How would you even twink in TOR? At the least you don't know how its PvP system will work at all.

Comment by vekkth made on November 29th, 2009 at 2:19am
you're trying too hard. word "twink" was used in mmos ages before wow even exist. you dont need to tell everyone for how long you are playing mmorpgs, really.

Comment by Deidare made on November 29th, 2009 at 5:22pm
Uhh I never said WoW was the first MMO and never intended WoW's just the MMO everyone knows, I mean how many people here played DAC or EQ way back in its day, I'm only saying WoW because most people know it and have played it. I played MMOs since EQ and they've just gotten crazier since. (of course thats not a bad thing ;) )

Comment by RogueJedi86 made on November 29th, 2009 at 3:26am
WoW popularized the term and defined its current use. I played MMOs pre-WoW(I started MMOs with SWG), but WoW popularized the definition we know today. So no, it doesn't say how long I've been playing MMORPGs, really. It says what game made the term popular.

Comment by Ulnir made on November 29th, 2009 at 12:59pm
Go ahead and Google the word "twinks".. it might be a bit of an eye-opener to a few. XD
I always lol when people use that word in mmos.

Comment by Revix2k9 made on November 29th, 2009 at 6:22am
we all knew wow is not first mmo but everyone think it is at least the ones who have slow minds do.

Comment by Revix2k9 made on November 28th, 2009 at 5:38pm
wow has no twinks cept 80s :P

Comment by Deidare made on November 29th, 2009 at 12:42am
Lol Revix that is kinda true and false at the same time. While WoW has tried to manage to throw twinking away there still are players that have considerable enchants and gear, but I've managed to beat them even when I’m 5 levels below them. So I don't think TOR will have much of a problem with twinking, if any at all. They've so far have shown us that they have no problem makeing a kick butt MMO, so mabye they can handle the "twink problem." (I don't consider it much a problem. WoW has managed it fine, most "twinks" are easy to beat as long as you know your class.)

Comment by Panzzer made on November 28th, 2009 at 2:36pm
thers going to be twinks man, you cant prevent it so long as there are battlegrounds.
