Uncloaking the Jedi Consular & Threat of Peace Issue 21

The holonet for the second to last class, the Jedi Consular, is now up:

Channeling the power of the Force for strength and wisdom, the Consulars of the Jedi Order cut to the truth of any complicated situation as cleanly as their double-bladed Lightsabers cut down an army of Imperial foes. Whether unlocking long forgotten mysteries of the Jedi, raising armies to fight for the Republic, or engaging in mortal combat with Dark Lords of the Sith, the Jedi Consulars deep attunement to the Force gives them all the power they need to rise to any battle with poise and balance.

Access the HoloNet to read archived reports on the mystical Jedi Consular and to see footage of the Consular in action Also, be sure to check out the media section for new downloadable screenshots, concept art, and wallpapers

Sean also said in another thread that the Sith Inquistors page will be going up next week. Go check out this new Jedi class, and have your worries about having to wear a funny hat, put at ease. The latest issue of Threat of Peace was also released today. Have fun reading and searching for clues

I think the description they give the Jedi consular on its Holonet page is perfect for solving the confusion over whether the Jedi knight and consular have the same lore or not. If you take it to mind they really are two different classes, and I think the part of the community that had a problem with this is beginning to realize that they are different and that having four force user classes is a good thing, not a bad one. (I initially had a problem with it as well but I've come at peace with the circumstance a while back.) Plus they "avatar" or Jedi consular on the Holonet page does some awesome combat moves! The twirls and slam the Jedi does with that sweet looking double bladed light saber is awesome. BW did a good job for that Holonet page, and I can’t wait to see what they say about the Sith Inquisitor, which is likely that its Holonet page will be up this Friday. I think the consular has finally found its place in the community, after all the commotion it sounds like a cool class. (Course I’m pro Empire )

This is a bit unrelated, but I came across it looking over the Holonet pages again. Did they change the video for the Imperial Agent air strike? It looks more polished than when I originally watched it.

No. I download videos when they are released and compare with this on holonet and this is still selfsame vid.

There is one little technically interesting moment in third clip. When Consular atack it look like she develop three step combo, but when creature start to hit, then Jedi stop and dodge. I noticed, that this animation is fluid, there is no "back to standard position and start dodging" :) I like to see little technical details when they are polished.

I'm beginning to really like this class. This Jedi comes more close to the Jedi we all know than any other class. Still going for a non force user though :)
