A few weeks ago the Darth Hater team descended on E3 with a ravenous desire to learn about Star Wars: The Old Republic. With so many hands on deck, we were able to gather large quantities of data for the TOR fan community, and we shared much of this information in our articles, a group podcast, and even a packed live Q&A. The best part of this entire experience is that, after all of our coverage, there is still more to share.

We are back from over an hour and a half playing 6 of the 8 classes in Star Wars: The Old Republic, not including Jedi Knight and Jedi Consular. All official videos are posted on our YouTube channel. Although we will have more specific information about the classes shortly, we first wanted to give you a heads-up on some of our findings after the jump.

BioWare's Sean Dahlberg soothed some community worries about class-restricted species, wrapped up the reveals of the week, and waxed poetic about the ups and downs of E3:

Hey guys,

I got up at 4am this morning to get back to Austin so I'll make this short and sweet instead of rambling on as I tend to.

In regards to the delay of this week's update, we sympathize with Sean Dahlberg of BioWare regarding post-E3 travel:

Sorry, we had a very early flight and had to leave the hotel at 4:30am this morning. I'm getting a few things together and then we'll post our final wrap up for this Fan Friday that shows a little of the War Zones, Chiss Imperial Agent, and Twi'lek Smuggler.

Two new screenshots of a male Twi'lek Smuggler and a female Chiss Imperial Agent are on the official site, while the rest are the War Zone shots that were part of the E3 press package. Also, we were treated to the latest issue of Blood of The Empire.

In our own Hater version of Fan Friday, a reader submitted their recreation of the Deceived trailer that we had to share with you:

Lots of yellow text after the jump...

We were honored to gain more insight regarding class design, group sizes, character progression, and other topics from James Ohlen, Creative Director and Lead Designer of Star Wars: The Old Republic™. As the game is still under development, we must warn you that some specifics mentioned about particular systems are subject to change after undergoing significant testing. An example of this is the combat systems for the Trooper changing to become something more fitting to the class in almost three months between our hands-on game play sessions, and the mysterious disappearance of double bladed lightsabers in the Sith Warrior HoloNet outfitting screenshots.

For the reason behind the latter and more, read on.

A Gametrailers interview with Daniel Erickson at E3 went up recently. Although the video is rather short and covers some material already mentioned, it does contain some new elements talking about overarching story. Listen at about 2 minutes on for the new info. Link to the video is below.

Gametrailers Interview with Daniel Erickson.

Highlights
World arcs are giant party sized quests which are multi-tiered, long, awesome adventures with choices to make and everything to do as a party
Players get to develop the story of the Republic vs the Empire
Players get to influence where the war grows and where the war changes
These player influenced events will determine who dominates a planet, pulls in new allies, etc.

For those interested, IGN will be doing a live review of Star Wars: The Old Republic at E3. It will air at 6:40pm EDT, 3:40pm PDT, or 11:40pm GMT. It will be 20 min review. The link is posted below.

IGN Live at E3

Update: The interview was short but we were able to get a few things from it below.

Highlights
Warzone combat referred to as chaotic. Conflict is key, many more warzones are possible.
Player Ships function as Player Houses by James Ohlen. Looks that players will not have a house in addition to a ship.
Truly an MMO, combination of story and elements of an MMO, not a single player game
