Normally I wouldn't complain about this, but i literally made it like 5 minutes in before I couldn't stand the fanboyish attitude of this podcast.

Love the website and look forward to all your pod casts, but because you guys are the speculation masters I have to ask something. Do we even know what well be fighting in SWTOR? I know PVP wise but what Ive been wondering is who will be the pve enemy. I cant seem to find any real information on this and was wondering if you guys had any insight. Very very sorry that this is off topic but Im not sure were to ask this.

Well for one well still face Empire/Republic NPCs too but as for the neutral party of NPCs that both sides would face, I have no clue.

Has it been confirmed that Will had meant that only those Species that can speak basic will be playable or that all of the playable WILL be speaking basic? Cause the 2nd means that any species has a chance of being playable, they will just be speaking basic?

In DH's interview with the Lucas Arts Sound Team a few weeks ago, LA said that the different species that will be playable in the game as your character will only speak basic. This was a cool interview because it confirmed playable species besides human in a sly way because up til then BW was being very discreet/secretive as always.

It really just confirmed that there won't be alien languages for whatever species you choose, it was confirmed back in August or September that we could play as another species.

Comment by Alex made on January 6th, 2010 at 9:54pm
No it wasn't confirmed back in August/September, this is the first time Bioware them selves have confirmed it. It's been the subject of speculation for ages though. But lol, it didn't confirm there wouldn't be an alien language because they have said that already several time. So your post would be correct if you reversed it (sort of) :P

When they say "fast paced combat," I have a tendency to take them literally.

We'll see. ;)

I like that you added volume controls, I always had to blast my speakers to hear before and it was terrible getting hit by something really loud :)

This was really well done as always... thanks DH for putting all your time and effort into these podcasts. I don't know what I look forward for anymore, swtor.com friday updates or dh.com constant mid-week updates!!! I'll just settle with DH's explanation of the friday updates!!!! Best of both worlds hahaha. But seriously, great job everyone, keep up the good work!!

The Jan 2010 issue of PC gamer named Grand Moff Tarkin and Sam Fisher as the inspiration to the Imperial Agent. However, I feel that the best analog to the class in the Star wars lore is Morrigan Corde (Cade Skywalker's mum) from the Star Wars: Legacy Comic series.

Once again, great podcast guys. Thanks for sort of wrapping up all the recent speculations that went on, it helped me put them all to thought and remember them. Also nicely done Emlaeh for your first time on a podcast, thought you did great. Although like everyone else is saying, I did think you were a little to quiet XD. Well done guys, like the borderlands reference. (BTW Mordecai Rogue spec FTW.)
