Im a very big Rper and i do kind of miss the Inventory system. But what they did in Mass Effect 2 i believe follows the story quite well. Your inventor is your lab where you manufacture weapons and mods for your team, not just for you. You still collect armor and other things. But this is much beyond and it might not work in all games but for Mass effect 2 it makes complete sense

I know people are complaining about how ME2 reduced the inventory/item system to a boring level. I too liked the fact of changing my gear almost after every mission in ME1 - but honestly why did we enjoy it? not because the pink medium armour looked better than the black/white camo light one - No because the pink one had better stats.

Frankly that's what it comes down to for many of the MMO freaks out there. The stats of the gear. That's the reason why people look like clowns in WOW.

Now I love what they did in ME2 with the armour customization. You basically had your standard armour, but depending on which special stat you equip you would change a tiny piece of it`s shape - and then you can colour it the way you like. The stats stay the same and you can chose your favourite colour. I think that this is the way to go for TOR. And I hope BioWare thinks the same :)

Suprised no one mentioned The Star wars Cloan wars mention of the Old Republic last week. Mandlar even had a Black Lightsaber stolen from the jedi temple during the "fall of the old republic" Personally i thought that was a hit of advertising for the MMO

Wow, is it just me or did the people responding suddenly take a nose dive. Probably because of the official aim of release is next year...

I really enjoyed playing the Vanguard on my first playthru of ME2. I really dug the whole "in your face" style of play, especially charge. On my second playthru now on Insanity mode and Sado, you got it right on the money, its a bitch! Im progressing very slowly. Need to think alot my plan of attack before heading into the fray. Im not using charge nearly as much, mostly when i need to reload and there is a guy right infront of me. Ill stick it out for a while, but i might take DH's advice and try infiltrator or something.
Keep up the good work :D

idk my only problem was i didnt like how loyalty worked in this game. In Mass Effect 2 you can pretty much act or say whatever you want, but as long as you successfully do your character's mission they will be loyal to you.. I liked the DA:O method more (minus the gifts.. if they didnt have gifts it woulda been better imo)

As for saving, idk i didnt really have the problem that you guys mentioned.

There were some good things from the gifts. For example there was one gift that would make people very happy because it has a special meaning for them, like a fancy mirror that relates to a story they told you.

That's true; the story related gifts were cool. I probably should have specified more, that by the whole gifts thing i meant, that i didn't like it how you could just build up someone's loyalty to 100% just by bombarding them with gifts. Then a gain thats just a minor thing i had a problem with, it's not really a big deal :D

I really want Space combat. It will not only complete SW:TOR in my eyes. At this point i think it will be in the game. My next question is....how big are the ships we can get :D

BATTLE-CRUISER FTW(you gotta hope :|)

Keep you heads up Darth Hater team. It will be a slow February, but I hope people will come back and see what you guys got to offer down the road. I hope ME1 and ME2 will last a year for me haha. (I wish). They need to make a MMO out of this. ;)
