Update after the jump

It's a bit too early to tell on this but it is quite interesting the way that this NPC seen in the Coruscant developer dispatch video seems to have control over this creature:

This is obviously pure speculation right now but this is the first time that we have seen a creature in close proximity to an NPC or player without them fighting it at the time almost as if it were the person's creature. I can't wait to get my hands on the high-res version of the video to get a better look at this in the future.

Though the article reveals nothing new from what we have known for some time it is nice to have confirmation on one of the items that we speculated on in our first dissection:

The dialogue options available in this scenario to Zeshuck and Eisendel would be determined by the skills of their characters and some randomization. "You can either agree or compete on what game dialogue you want to have and what direction the story goes. Because at the end of the day you are making a decision on whether I'm going to kill the captain or save the captain that's a dark side choice, Erik doesn't want that. It's neat to have that potential interaction."

Hat tip to Chillinvillain.

Gamespot has uploaded a high resolution version of the Coruscant reveal trailer we posted earlier. This version of the trailer is a bit higher quality than the one we posted. Even now after more than ten times of watching this reveal it is still just as impressive.

Today's last and final demonstration of the PAX Star Wars: The Old Republic demo shows off trooper gameplay footage. Oh also - /dance confirmed in this demo We also got to see a little glimpse of the death/respawn system - RETURN TO MEDCENTER is the death option in the demo when the person demoing the game died. We are hoping to have the full gameplay demo video up today if everything goes well with the bandwidth at PAX.

Youtube Embed:

UPDATE: The trooper video is now up for torrent download. Youtube embed above now up. Youtube also just parsed it into HD so everything should be good there.

Gamespot has the full Day 1 gameplay demo video now online. Seems like they beat us to it :-( . We are still uploading our full Day 2 demo video and should be up later tonight. Part of the delay has been the internet connection we are using to upload it (6hrs to fully upload). We're going to wait on doing the dissection due to the quality of the video seen. Hopefully Bioware posts an HD direct feed soon.

Planet Coruscant was just announced during the PAX Star Wars: The Old Republic demonstration and as such we were lucky enough to be able to record the trailer of the planet shown via the demonstration stage screen, hope you like it.

We also have a high-resolution direct link for the video. If you download the video via the direct link you will have to have the Divx codec or use VLCPlayer to view it. Note: This was recorded via a cam, so not a direct feed. Hopefully they post a direct feed of the trailer later. Thanks has to go to Pete and Sleeper (two members of the team here at Darth Hater) for recording it for us.

If you liked the video please Digg it if you would be so kind. :)

Update: We now have an HD version of the trailer that we recorded on the 3rd day of PAX.

We just got out of the day 1 developer Q&A session that Bioware held and it was AWESOME. We asked if we could get confirmation on two force using classes per faction and you could speculate on whether or not they did (not clear from the audio). The audio of the entire Q&A is below. Enjoy ;).

Note: First 2 seconds is really loud, try to have your volume low for that portion.
